best husband ever.
Yesterday Chris came home after a lame day at work (knowing that he'd have another lame one today) to a pathetic me with a migraine. I was laying on the floor with Bennett, shielding my eyes from the painful light, trying to keep him playing with duplo's in one spot so I didn't have to chase him around.
Chris knew that caffeine helps my migrains to go away so without me even asking (or complaining that he had a bad day), walked up to the closest Starbucks to grab me a coffee, only to find out it had already closed.
The second one he tried was open so he came home with a mocha in hand and started making
breakfast for dinner for all of us, fed Bennett and did all the dishes.
We realized that the sippy cup of milk we were about to give Bennett was the last of Bennetts organic whole milk, and since Bennett has been sick/teething he's been waking up once a night, only to be lulled back to sleep with warm milk.
While I was putting Bennett down, Chris walked up to the store to grab some more milk just in case we needed it.
After Bennett had been sleeping for about an hour, all of the smoke detectors started to go off randomly. The battery on the one in Bennet's room was dying and it wanted us to be aware.
Chris was able to pull them off of the ten foot ceilings (no way I could have done that. Even on a chair) and silence them. Somehow Bennett slept through it all.
Just as Chris is.
I don't know what I'd do without him.
