Fawn and Forest featured Buckley's room on their blog last week.

Buck's room kind of has the same feel to it as Bennett's does; 

(Bennett's room was featured a while back in case you  missed it.)

lots of white, some vintage, some modern with pops of color.

I love Buck's room just as much as Bennett's, so I'm glad 

we won't have to change their rooms much as they grow.

Buck's room is the smallest in the house and it's so hard to take pictures of a small room, but I think these turned out pretty good. 

I baked. A lot.

(what's the point to measuring vanilla...always overestimate)

I made peanut butter banana oatmeal bars:

had some Dole whip covered in juicy fresh fruit:

I made these energy bites again:

(I made a double batch and froze them for once little brother gets here. 

I'm sure we will need all the energy we can get)

Lauren and Fern came over. I'm convinced they will get married...or maybe Fern will be more of little brother's type. Maybe little brother will like older women. 

(Chris and Craig did go for older ladies afterall)

For date night we decided to grab the spiciest thing we could think of.

Spicy fish sauce wings from Pok Pok Noi!

("spicy" is an understatement. I don't like spicy food but these are amazing and I was willing to eat them for a good cause...trying to vacate little brother!)

Were we in PDX  or did we go to Thailand for the evening?

Before I eat the wings I layer on the chapstick for extra protection 

and I always end up eating all of the cold veggies: 

(after rubbing them all over my lips, eating every last ice cube and grain of rice)

 (did I mention I'm a spicy food wuss?) 

"did we just induce labor?!"

What better way to counteract spiciness than with some ice cream from Salt and Straw:

Obviously, the spiciness did not do it's job, but that's the sacrifice I was willing to make.

We spent the rest of the weekend outside playing and being crafty:

I pulled out my sewing machine:

and the boys pulled out their tank tops:

Strawberry lemonade and arnold palmers definitely happened:

(if you have a costco membership you need to get these pitchers...they are amazing and there is a coupon right now!)

Oh yeah, back to the nursery...

and we spent some time under them coloring with sidewalk chalk and running around:

And that was our lovely weekend.

(and Portland is back to the rain)

 Friday night, Chris chose to get Broder for his birthday/date night dinner.

No complaints here.

We can never pass up aebilskivers as an appetizer:

 Chris got the burger with the amazing pea salad (I don't even like peas but I could eat this all day long).

I got their famous Pyatt y Panna (smoked trout hash) with baked eggs and walnut toast.

I usually order the dark hot chocolate but decided to try the raspberry apple cider and it didn't disappoint!

Sooo good:

 Saturday morning, someone woke us up early wanting to play blocks.

We appeased him by playing blocks in bed for a bit then we decided to finish putting together the nursery and rearranging B's room.

The changing table/dresser got moved into the nursery and his bed and bookshelf got flipped around.

He has so much more floor space to play on now!

He especially loved the little euro swim shorts:

 During nap, I whipped this up:

 Saturday night we had friends over for cake and coffee.

Nine of us could only finish half of the cake:

 Sunday morning Chris woke up to a scavenger hunt:

Then we went to Lovejoy Bakers to get our favorite breakfast:

 then to Barista for some delicious caffeinated fuel:

 we walked over to REI to get our new stroller, but B really wanted to play in the 'airplanes':

 Sunday night we met Chris' parents for his actual birthday dinner at Laurelhurst Market.

I forgot to take pictures of our amazing food, but I did get a picture of B throughouly enjoying his mac n cheese:

 afterwards, we grabbed birthday ice cream cones at Salt and Straw:

 Yesterday it was an amazingly gorgeous day, so after Chris got home we ate a quick dinner and took our new toy out for a test ride to the park.

Only missing one little wiggly thing:

 Oh and this weekend we managed to squeeze in a belly picture.

Who knows how many more there will be?!

Pregnancy #2 is way more painful/annoying/difficult than #1 ever was and 

Chris gets to hear about it all the time (sorry Chris)!

then he ran into his room and came out like this:

Thursday was a random snow day.

We got about 3 or 4 inches!

Scout was jealous that he couldn't go play in it:

For date night Chris and I went to see Hunger Games just to see what all the hype was about. Neither of us knew anything about the books other than people were crazy for them. Apparently it's a "teen flick" and it had just opened the night before. We were lucky to even get tickets. I'll say that it wasn't a bad movie, but a very strange plot for kids to be getting so excited over (killing eachother? really?). 

Am I missing something?

Sunday, Chris played at church and we also started taking down some doors to 

paint them and put on the new hardware:

B and I went over to play with Lauren and Fern.

He pretty much loves her:
