I guess it should be more like "weeks in review" since this is what we did over the last two weeks.
It's so hard to get back to blogging once you get out of the routine (eventhough it was only once a week).
The thing that keeps me coming back is that I want the boys to be able to come here to see what life was like when they were little.
So anyways...
Buck woke up from a nap in the carseat to find us grocery shopping.
He peeked out from under the blanket for a good 15 minutes.
He's such a goofy guy:
To kick off Father's Day weekend we picked up Chris from work and headed to Porque No for dinner:
Bennett built a new friend "Bill"out of duplos, who is still in his room two weeks later.
It's the first actual thing he has built all by himself and he was pretty proud:

This is kind of blurry but I can't resist these boys in the hooded towels I made them:
(especially when they aren't stinky...who knew boys got so stinky?)

We celebrated Father's Day a day early for Chris.
Bennett and I made a card together, I asked him what he wanted to say:
(yes, that's my horrible drawing of Chris)

Saturday morning we headed downtown to grab coffee and continue our photobooth tradition.

Afterwards we decided to check out a new park in The Pearl called The Fields:
Buck took a nap while Bennett played:
After a little play time we walked over to the picnic tables to have lunch:
We grabbed sandwiches at Lovejoy Bakers and ate them with the best view in Portland:
After lunch we ran up to a shop on Mississippi so Chris could get some new cologne for Father's Day.
While we were there we found some creepy masks:

On Sunday we went to Chris' parent's house for Father's Day breakfast.

Muscleman Buck:
These banana bread pancakes were amazing:
(note: we made half of the maple vanilla glaze and didn't even use half of it, just in case you want to try them out...and you should.)
