Grocery shopping...it's a love/hate relationship.
 I love all of the possibilities that lie ahead of me, but I don't necessarily like putting in the effort of going to multiple stores with a toddler.

 I've shared how full/crazy/tiring one of my grocery shopping days can be in my 'a day in the life' post. 

Thank the Lord I don't have to deal with a.)putting all of our grocery bags in the stroller while b.)holding Bennett and c.)navigating through a maze of doors with a super heavy stroller and only one hand; all the while praying that someone doesn't get on the elevator and want to make small chat which would in turn wake B up.  Again I say THANK THE LORD!

Anyways, all that to say...

During the inagural ride up to Safeway,

Bennett pretended to talk on my phone the whole way.

He's got a rough life.

Sunday morning we met up with my mom and bought appliances for the new house.

We got a great deal on a dishwasher and a washer and dryer!

Aren't they pretty:

We went to a couple 4th of July bbqs and Bennett throughly enjoyed himself.

After hunting for a few weeks, we finally found B a non-cheesy hat and sunglasses.

He's kind of obsessed with them.

My rice crispy treat pops for one of the bbqs:

Once it got dark, we met up with some friends at a baseball field for a big fireworks show.

We watched some fireworks but ended up leaving because I had a stupid migraine.

B wasn't as into the fireworks as I thought he'd be anyways.

They were pretty though:

Chris had Tuesday off and we all slept in and made lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberry compote. 

They were the fluffiest/yummiest pancakes ever.
