I've always been a fan of West Elm, though sometimes they go through "global" phases which isn't really my style.
I love clean, simple lines, vintage, Scandanavian and mid century designs.
And white...lots of it.
West Elm's current new arrivals hit the nail on the head and had me drooling as I looked through the new catalog, so I thought I'd share!

(how cute would this be in a nursery?)

They also have started revealing this year's Christmas collection!
I'm so excited to decorate an actual house this year with outdoor Christmas lights and a real/normal sized tree! (our mini tree that we bought at Whole Foods and carried all the way back to our apartment last year only lasted a week or so. Read more here and here.)
The few Christmas decorations I've seen at West Elm this year have me excited to see the rest!

I am so getting this wreath to go over our fireplace:

and these cute felt snowflakes better find their way to my tree:
(though they may have to wait until the after Christmas sales hit to stock up for a whole tree full!)

I love you West Elm!
Call me boring, but ever since I spotted these at Canoe I have dreamt (is that how you would spell that? it looks weird) about the simplicity and straight lines of these dishes and cups.

We currently have these and these and these with a bunch of these thrown in.
Though I love my current dishes, and would feel guilty buying something else (what would I do with the old stuff?) I kind of want white everything white now.

Get into my cupboard!

And because this post lacks color entirely (and because I think he's super cute in his shorts/cowboy boots) here are some pictures of Bennett helping me do some shopping...

What's in your cupboards?

PS: I made my granola with chopped up dried white peaches from TJs and it's sooo good.
I will never put raisins in it again!

And something that was on my wishlist a year ago (which I later got)...
  Sseko Sandals!
I love mine and the purpose behind them.
Read more here.
I noticed that The Bright Side Project is giving away a pair of them, but you have to enter by this Friday, March 4th! How cool is that?!
( I didn't want you guys to miss out!)
I hadn't either until I saw their lovely dresses on Bliss last week. Lee is an Australian designer who's dresses are exactly what I always want to find but never can...simple designs, quality construction and fabrics.  The dresses certainly aren't cheap ($200-$500) though they are currently trying to get rid of their summer stock (it's currently the end of Australia's summer) so most of them are under $100 until they are gone!

These are the ones I am loving...

I seriously want each and everyone of them...I can't think of a more perfect summer wardrobe.
So light and airy!
Emerson Made: Spring

I don't consider myself a style mavin by any means.
I buy and wear what I like, regardless of what the celebrities are wearing these days, because come on, do people really think these , this and this are cute?

I like simple, clean lines and not ugly. You'd think this would be easy to find...
Emerson Made recently posted their new spring line on their blog and I am in love with almost every piece! (though it's not as pricey as the designer stuff, most of it is still super spendy and I dream about owning just one piece.)

It's sure is fun to look at though!

i'm a sucker for scallops:

PS: It's not cheap because EM is just a husband and wife (Emerson, who is also the gorgeous model) team and they make a very limited number of each item, a lot of which sell out from just the pre-orders!)
