The weekend before last we went to the pumpkin patch. We bundled up because we figured that it would still be chilly even with the sun out, but we actually ended up taking off our layers because we got too hot!
We have been going to this little pumpkin patch for years and we have pictures of Bennett and Buckley as tiny babies in front of this sign:

Waiting to get on the hay ride:
It was so bright:
Brother hugs:
Headed back with pumpkins:
After pumpkin picking, we did some of the activities before heading home for nap:
The boys were more interested in the hay:
All the guys have matching boots and it's pretty much the cutest:
Oh and the next day Chris ran a marathon in 3 hours and 14 minutes...no big deal:
Speaking of Chris, today marks 10 years since we started dating, so here's a few of the first pictures I have of us on the computer.
(yes, this is back when people actually used to print off pictures)
On our first official date before the Azalea House dance in 2003:
(yes, those are root beers...we were 19 and 20)
First Christmas together:
(matchy matchy...glad that didn't last)
In his asian-inspired room at stinky Varsity house at OSU:
(He asked me to be his girlfriend and also proposed to me in this room...when you live in a house with 50 guys, you gotta do what you gotta do. I said yes both times obviously.)
Ten years is kind of a big deal.
Cheers to us!
A continuation of happenings over the last few weeks...
(click here to see part one)
We've had a great stretch of amazingly warm weather.
Chris and Bennett took advantage and decided to camp out in the backyard.
It only lasted until 9:30 when B decided that he'd rather sleep in his own bed.
(it was a good decision because the next morning we woke up to it pouring like crazy)
Setting up the tent:
Buck playing scoot soccer:
(yes, he's still scooting...and it's still adorable)

Bennett playing "train" with Buck in the wagon:
(I love that they are starting to actually play together, it's the sweetest thing)
I made this little succulent-scape for our outdoor table:
(though they have found their way inside since it's been raining)
We've thoroughly enjoyed our backyard.
Picnics:
Eating with no clothes on:
(Buck only)
And more eating outside...it's our favorite:
(we just so happened to be having the same thing in both of these pictures, but I promise they were at different times.
If you like Banh Mi's you should make these!)
Lots of pool time:
And being cute:
(why yes, those are matching euro swim shorts)

Walking to the park with his friend Lucy:
Picking flowers
(and eating them) at the park:
Buck started touching his head about a week ago and we thought it was cute,
but it turns out he has a double ear infection:
(he's doing great now, but I'm sad we didn't catch it sooner)
My baby boys:
(yes you guys will always be my babies, get used to it)
Shave ice with some friends:
Before he started his antibiotics, Buck (and we) had about 4 nights with almost no sleep.
The poor guy was so tired that he fell asleep mid-swing:
(though he looks quite comfy)
and he also fell asleep in his high chair a couple of times:
Now he's feeling much better and has had two night of sleeping 12 hours straight!
Also, he's pulling himself up onto everything and cruising around.
I think walking is right around the corner:
(B walked at 15 months, so it will be interesting to see if Buck makes it that long)

And that's the end of my photo dump.
I'm excited to celebrate Father's Day with Chris and the boys this weekend, it looks like we are going to have perfect weather for playing downtown!
Happy Friday Friends!
I'm ready to get back into this blogging thing...it's so easy to get out of the swing of things, then a month goes by without any posts.
Have no fear, I'm back!
It's been a couple of months since I've done a week in review post,
so I'm catching up with a photo dump x2.
Happenings over the last couple of months...
Peonies have taken a permanent spot on our table:
Birthday parties in the church's toddler room are a good way to make everyone happy:
Mother's day with my family:
(and our new bubble machine)
Recieved this in the mail:
(we are planning something very exciting for the fall!)

Pre-bedtime swing sessions:
Getting ready to be cut open:
(This warming gown was amazing, they hook up a hose into it that fills an interior layer with warm air.
I decided that I need one for home.)
The week after my surgery I ate some of the things I missed...
Tots:
Thai food:
(I would have it occasionally, but was always scared eating it, so I never enjoyed it.)
ICE CREAM:
Our first real summer evening, waiting to eat my first cheeseburger in a year:
(I loooove this picture of Buck)
Played with friends:
Lauren enjoyed Buck cuddles:
Bennett stole my sunglasses:

Watching the garbage truck:

and being just plain cute:

Chalk drawings:
(he was outlining our feet, obviously)

And we did a lot of hanging out in our back yard:
Thanks everyone for the sweet comments about my surgery.
It's been 3 weeks and I feel even better than I did pre-surgery.
I've even starting working out and running without any problems!
Happy Friday Friends!
