Friday B and I went to the zoo before his nap.
The zoo is about three miles from our house, and we have a zoo pass,
so it's great to just get out for a bit and walk around.
Bennett loves the monkeys and the elephants the best.

We did lots of reading this weekend,
mostly of Hop on Pop.
Bennett is obsessed.
Yesterday I went to my friend Kira's baby shower.
It was nice and relaxing to just sit outside and have grown up conversations
without having to chase a toddler around.
(although we talked mostly about our kids anyways)
Afterwards I met Chris and B on Mississippi where we grabbed Thai and stocked up on green beans for Chris to roast.
This weekend we also made progress on the house...

Chris' goal this week is to finish the fireplace and I'm going to work on painting the kitchen.
Hopefully we get it all done!

ReplyDeleteI took Blake to the zoo for the first time a couple weeks ago and he was afraid of that monkey! That's awesome that you guys are so close to the zoo! We want to come see your new place!
