Soo it's really hard to keep up the blogging when the weather get's nice.
Hopefully I'll be able to keep it up throughout our busy summer!

Anyways, on to our weekend!

Bennett met the goats at our friend's house.
He meowed at them and gave them all hugs.
He made sure to give each one lots of pets so no one would feel left out.
We might have a farmer on our hands.

Friday night for date night, Chris and I went to Toro Bravo for a dinner full of different tapas.
We were too hungry to remember to take pictures but we got one of our last plate, Oxtail Croquettes.
(I didn't want to ask if it was actual oxtail, but they were good!)

we also split two different desserts...
house made churros with chocolate dipping sauce:

and chocolate lava cake with vanilla bean ice cream:
Toro Bravo was so good and was our favorite kind of meal...tasting a little bit of a lot of different things!
Yum!

Saturday we woke up and walked up to the farmer's market.
I have been on the lookout for fava beans since last summer and I finally got my hands on some!
I was so excited!
Now I can finally make this.

Saturday afternoon, we attempted to go to our nephew's T-ball game but got stuck in backed-up traffic from the stinkin bridge lifts. Go away high water!
We made it for litteraly the last minute of the game.

My neice(his big sister) was at a birthday party at a lake not too far from his game so we decided to head over there since it was super nice out.
Bennett loved running around in the field:
(matching boys!)

Sunday we dropped Bennett off at Chris' parent's house and joined the Hartmann's for some frisbee golf.
This was our first time and let's just say I'm not so good and my arm hurts from throwing the frisbee.
Lauren and I narrowly escaped a giant swarm of bees that the guys thought was all in our heads.
Even though I didn't do so well, it was still lots of fun!

House update:
(in case you were wondering)
the house and sewer inspections went well and if they agree to the fixes we want them to do,
we will close mid July!
Praise the Lord!
Can't wait to share picture!

I love how sweet Bennett was with the goats, I bet it was adorable.

I walked by your apartment twice on Sunday. I thought about texting you, but figured the weather was too nice to be home so I just assumed you weren't there.
