Call me boring, but ever since I spotted these at Canoe I have dreamt (is that how you would spell that? it looks weird) about the simplicity and straight lines of these dishes and cups

We currently have these and these and these with a bunch of these thrown in.
Though I love my current dishes, and would feel guilty buying something else (what would I do with the old stuff?) I kind of want white everything white now.

Get into my cupboard!

And because this post lacks color entirely (and because I think he's super cute in his shorts/cowboy boots) here are some pictures of Bennett helping me do some shopping...

What's in your cupboards?

PS: I made my granola with chopped up dried white peaches from TJs and it's sooo good.
I will never put raisins in it again!

White is totally your thing. I'm kind of surprised you have bright fiesta dinnerware. I can definitely see those white plates in your kitchen!

Bennett looks crazy cute in those shorts. Where did you get them?

I LOVE those dishes. I want simple white ones so badly. I'm stuck with red and black though. :(

haha! oh, the shirts & cowboy boots look that little boys love :). and these plates are totally you...i'm with kira - i was really surprised that you didn't already have plain white dishes - the bright ones are fun, but not what i would guess you would choose. maybe we tend to go for a little something different than our usual when choosing dishes the first time around, because i totally went with white and you obviously know that i'm not by nature a simplicity kind of girl :).

    PS excited for saturday!

Yes...maybe someday I will have these lovelies. The cups are a steal, so probably those before the dishes...but we have so many dang cups as it is.

Lauren- I totally loved color and wanted mismatched bright dishes when we got married (I wanted to add red to the mix, so we could use red/green dishes during the holidays) haha so glad I didn't. I actually really love how durable Fiestaware is but it's not really my style anymore. oh well. Maybe we should trade. :)

And Kira, the shorts are from Costco and are actually pajama pants. I usually don't buy Carters but they have a few pj sets that have these shorts, I got 2 different sets because they are so cute as normal shorts! $10 for a shirt, shorts and pants...you can't beat that! The only shorts out there for boys are athletic looking or cheesy plaid so I have to be creative!

Love his little cowboy boots:-) We have plain white dishes, just because I couldn't decide on anything colorful/with a pattern while we were registering for wedding gifts. I figured I could always add some color later, but for now, I love the "simple!" xoxo

Becca I'm totally the same with dishes. When we got married I went COLOR: red, yellow, green, teal and some funky offbeat browns. But they all have chips in them and I am dreaming of streamlined, thinner, more durable whites.

Also I had a sample of your delicious biscotti (prior to Marley eating them, which saddened me greatly because I was dreaming about eating more of it all day) and I was interested in the recipe...
The first 6 months we were married I made biscotti probably every week or two and Matt and I would have tea & biscotti dates :)
