Appliance Envy

It seem like all of our friends are buying houses. Don't get me wrong, I am very fortunate to be able to stay home with Bennett, but it would be awesome to be in our own place that we could make ours. It will be another year or so before we can do this but it doesn't mean we can't daydream!
So....

Lets pretend this is our Non-Existent House!:
(because we want to own an Eichler/Rummer someday)
Here is the front. Nice huh?

View from our backyard. Lovely ain't it?

Our living room

Our kitchen

And in our kitchen...

...we have the coolest cooktop ever!

And in our laundry room...
...an all in one washer/dryer!

I hope you liked our NEH (non-existent house). The best part is, we didn't have to spend a dime...we'll have you over soon!

Oh we love this kind of house too! Mid-Century modern with lots and lots of big windows!

a house like these would totally compliment your interior decor tastes (...from what i've seen anyway...). it's so pretty. i wish i new how to decorate in the style you do. i'm more cottagey, and while i love your style, i can never seem to execute it just right....i like little tcotchkes too much i think. we have a ranch style house and sometimes i wish i could just get rid of all our stuff and decorate it mid-century modern style and be true to the period, but it just doesn't feel like me....i'm still hoping i'll grow into it though :).

hope you get your house soon(ish), but being home with your little one is definitely way cooler than owning a house.....especially when your dishwasher breaks and you don't have anyone but yourselves (and your bank account!) to replace it. no fun.

Yes, we LOVE JM and Tammy's house, it's pretty much amazing!
And Lauren, I say that if you like something then you can make it work with any style!
